Meals are available for home delivery, but many local senior citizens prefer to come to local senior centers for communal meals. Often you can play cards or dominoes or enjoy coffee with friends after your meal.

Senior Box Program from the Southeast Texas Food Bank

The Southeast Texas Food Bank coordinates the “Senior Box Program”.

Each month, they provide boxes of food to help seniors plan nutritious in home meals.

Keep Your Mind Sharp: Visit the Libraries of Southeast Texas and East Texas

Local libraries provide meeting places for local senior organizations, large print books, movies, and more.

They also host special entertainment events throughout the year.

Most now even allow you to download new releases and classics at home on your Kindle or iPad.
