When symptoms cannot be managed at home, or when families are having difficulty coping with an in-home death, Harbor Hospice’s inpatient facility, Harbor House, located on Major Drive in Beaumont will provide care in a warm, homelike setting for you or your loved one. The beautiful, serene, inpatient facility will offer the comfort of home while providing round-the-clock, expert medical care.
Harbor House’s inpatient facility offers many features including:
- 24-hour care by a registered nurse and other hospice staff members
- Patient-to-staff ratio that allows a greater level of individual attention and support to patients and their families
- Thirty private rooms, each with its own bathroom, TV, DVD and guest accommodations-includes six isolation rooms with negative air pressure
- Family Rooms and laundry room available for family members
- Chapel available for solitude
- Counseling room available
- Meals provided for patients
