Beaumont Senior Citizens Information Seminar hosted by Broussard’s Centre October 10th
Beaumont Seniors commonly share questions on three key areas of concern:

- Pre-Planning for End of Life Issues
- Beaumont Senior Legal Issues
Beaumont seniors and their families will be able to attend an informational seminar for Southeast Texas seniors October 10th at Broussard’s Center Beaumont.
This will be a free seminar for Golden Triangle Seniors and their families.
The event is designed as an “advance planning seminar” to help educate Beaumont senior citizens and their families in how to prepare for the unexpected.
The seminar will hit on the three areas of concern often expressed by Southeast Texas seniors, featuring local experts in estate law, senior safety, and final expenses.
Sessions will be held on Thursday, October 10th at Broussard’s Centre’, located at 1775 Calder, Beaumont, at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.
The Southeast Texas senior seminar will feature local attorney at law, Randy Drewett, certified Elder Law Attorney, speaking on legal tools for Beaumont seniors including wills, health care directives, powers of attorney. Randy Drewett will provide insights on why these tools can be essential for every Southeast Texas family to have in place, no matter the size of their estate. He will also discuss trusts and if they may be right for your family.
Bill Davis, 36-year veteran of the Beaumont Police Department, will discuss common Beaumont senior citizen safety concerns and how to stay safe while in at, out visiting or shopping, or in your car. Davis will cover a few useful tips that he has gleaned in his service with the Beaumont Police Department to help ensure and improve Beaumont senior safety.
Finally, Leon Stone, a funeral prearrangement specialist, will discuss how to plan ahead for funeral wishes so that loved ones don’t have to worry about what to do in an emergency. Your loved ones can be sure your wishes are carried out exactly as you envision.
