Family Portrait Luncheon, with speaker Lisa Genova, author of “Still Alice”
Alzheimer’s is one of the most challenging issues facing senior citizens in Southeast Texas and across the nation.
Many groups, institutions, and individuals are banding together to promote funding for research into understanding and ending Alzheimer’s forever.
In the Golden Triangle, we have a great event coming up on Wednesday, November 14, a “Family Portrait Luncheon” to honor family members and friends who have been affected by Alzheimer’s.
Funds generated will support dementia educational programs and awareness right here in Southeast Texas.
There will also be a very inspirational speaker, Lisa Genova, author of the New York Times bestselling novel “Still Alice”. Her novel chronicles one woman’s journey with early onset Alzheimer’s.
