Many Mid County seniors are dealing with a loved one’s Alzheimer’s.

It can be absolutely overwhelming and challenging for Southeast Texas seniors..

Port Neches United Methodist Church has responded to assist Golden Triangle seniors with an Alzheimer’s Support Group for Mid County.

The group meets once a month in the First United Methodist Church Port Neches Parlor.

If you have never been to an Alzheimer’s Support Group, a few things you can expect are:

• Advice on additional resources you may not have known were available to you and your loved one.
• A safe environment to open up with your frustrations, concerns, and fears
• A network of other Mid County residents who are in exactly the same situation you are.

If you are not in Mid County, chances are there is a Southeast Texas Alzheimer’s support group near you.

If you are having trouble finding one, post to our Facebook page “I’m looking for an Alzheimer’s support group in my city ________”.
