Southeast Texas Senior Volunteer & Service Opportunity – Daughters of the American Revolution William Diamond Chapter

Many women find the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) a fit for their service and social needs.
Southeast Texas is home to The William Diamond Chapter of the DAR.
The William Diamond Chapter of the DAR meets:
- The 3rd Monday of the month September – May (June-July-August the club has a hiatus for summer)
- St. Paul United Methodist Church. 1155 West Round Bunch in Bridge City Tx
Each month has a special program.
Past topics have included:
- A Sense of Duty by Judge Janice Menard, JP3
- Historical Reflections from an 1841 Letter by Elberta Herman
- Voices of Frontier Women by Jackie Huckaby
- Coast Guard Security of the Homeland by Andrew Allison, 2nd Class Petty Officer
- The Battle of Pyle’s Defeat by Penny Wyatt
Membership in the William Diamond Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is open to women 18 years and older who have a relative who served in the American Revolution.
There are 195 chapters throughout the State of Texas.
